MV Agusta sure does know how to build nice motorcycles, creations that many riders consider to be pieces of art. And their latest project, the Superveloce 800 is a great example of what the Italian brand can do.
Although it’s just in concept form at the moment, MV Agusta was keen to point out that the Superveloce 800 is in fact an addition to their 2019 lineup, and will be produced in the second half of next year. With classic lines mixed with new technologies, the Superveloce 800 was a real head-turner during the EICMA Milan motorcycle show.
Based on the latest generation of the F3 800 supersport machine, MV decided to give the Superveloce a classic touch. Streamlined fairings, a big round headlight with LED running lights, a yellow colored plexiglass at top of the front cowl, ending with a stylized rear end, also fitted with a round LED stoplight.
MV Agusta hasn’t released any detailed technical information about the Superveloce 800 concept, but we do know the fairings of the showroom bike are made in carbon fiber, something MV Agusta will surely change for plastic one on the final production version, or maybe keep the carbon fiber fairings to use on a special version of the Superveloce.
As we said, the concept bike is based around the F3 800 machine, and that means it has the sweet-sounding three-cylinder engine capable of pumping out almost 150 hp in stock form. Chassis, suspensions and brakes, not to mention the effective EAS 2.0 electronics package should also be kept on the production version of the Superveloce.
What do you think of this new MV Agusta Superveloce 800 concept?
