Triumph Speed Twin images leaked from dealers meeting

It seems Triumph isn’t about to stop with showing us new models for 2019, and after the excitement it was when the British brand decided to pull the covers on the new Scrmabler 1200’s last week, this week we’ve got another new model from the Hinckley brand to show you.

The bikes you see in these photos were published originally by Nieuwsmotor.nl website, and since then they’ve spread throughout the internet, are the new Speed Twin.

Last week Triumph organized a dealers meeting, and in that event they’ve decided to give an early preview to dealers of the new Speed Twin. Although Triumph tried to do its best to avoid the bikes being captured in photos, someone did in fact manage to come away with a couple of shots of the new model.

There’s not much information about this new bike for now. The engine should be the same as the Thruxton, so we should see the Speed Twin developing around 97 hp from the twin cylinder engine. Combine that with a lower weight compared to the Thruxton, and that should make the Speed Twin a very enjoyable bike to ride.

There’s no other technical information available at this moment, but since EICMA Milan is just around the corner, we expect to get all the details officially revealed in just a few days from now when the Italian exhibition starts and Triumph shows the Speed Twin to the public.

With more than ten years as a motorcycle journalist, i enjoy everything that has to do with two-wheels. I'm a fan of sport bikes and i prefer riding them on a racetrack, but give me a road filled with corners and good asphalt and i'll be there to have some fun!
