MotoGP – Hafizh Syahrin on his way to join KTM Tech3

Hafizh Syahrin will keep his place within the Tech3 team, but will race a KTM prototype next season

The future of Malaysian star Hafizh Syahrin has been given a great boost after his performance this past weekend in Mugello, where he managed to secure a 12th position on the MotoGP race and another 4 points for the championship.

Now, according to German news portal Speedweek, Hafizh Syahrin is set to join Miguel Oliveira in the new KTM Tech3 team.

Hervé Poncharal, Tech3 team boss, has already shown that he is really happy with the progression Syahrin has made since debuting in MotoGP this season, and race after race, practice after practice, the Malaysian rider is faster onboard the satellite Yamaha M1 and closer to be inside the Top 10.

According to Speedweek, the confirmation that Hafizh Syahrin will join the KTM Tech3 team should be announced in the next few days.
