It’s been a great start of the season for MotoGP rookie Hafizh Syahrin, but the Malaysian rider is showing at every track session that Monster Yamaha Tech3 did a good job by letting him ride the second M1 from the satellite Yamaha team.
From the two previous MotoGP rounds, in Qatar and Argentina, Syahrin got away with a total of 9 points from a 14th and 9th place finishes respectively.
This puts Hafizh Syahrin well in front of fellow rookie riders Franco Morbidelli and Takaaki Nakagami, with Morbidelli being the closest three points less than Syahrin.
In the Americas GP this weekend, the Malaysian is ready to continue to impress everyone and he hopes to find a better pace during the qualifying sessions, something he struggled in Argentina, although in that race he managed to go from 23rd on the grid to a final 9th place at the finish line!

Hoping to get the best performance from his Yamaha M1, Hafizh Syahrin spent some days at the famous Colin Edwards Texas Tornado Boot Camp, with the former MotoGP rider helping Syahrin in training and giving him some valuable tips to get better results in MotoGP.
Will Hafizh Syahrin get more points at the Circuit of The Americas this weekend?
