2018 Honda CB500F, CB500R and CB500X gets new ABS option

2018 seems to be looking fancy already thanks to Honda! The firm is currently updating its Honda CB500F, CBR500R and the CB500X model to come with an ABS option.

The bikes will be sporting three new colour options each as well as the CB500F will be coming in Force Silver Metallic, Candy Chromosphere Red and Candy Caribbean Blue Sea while the CBR500R will come in Pearl Metalloid White, Grand Prix Red and Graphite Black. Lastly, riders will get to ride their CB500X either in force Silver Metallic, Candy Chromosphere Red or Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic.

The Honda CB500-series bikes feature a 471 cc, DOHC, parallel-twin engine that is capable of producing an output of 49.6 hp at 8,500 rpm and 44 Nm at 7,000 rpm. It is all mated to a six-speed gearbox gets with a chain final drive. The R and F models has a 16.7-litre fuel tank, while the CB500X carries fuel in a 17.5-litre unit.

With the new installments and updates, the bikes will be retailed at a newer price. The CB500F naked sports will be priced at RM34, 861 while the CBR500R will be at RM35, 179 and the CB500X will be at RM35, 391. All prices are hiked up less than RM4000.

The prices stated include GST but exclude road tax, insurance and registration. It also comes with a two-year or 20,000 km manufacturing warranty from Boon Siew Honda.
