MForce Bike Holdings Sdn Bhd has officially launched two of QJMotor’s most highly anticipated sport bike models for the Malaysian market, the SRK250RD and SRK450RR. Priced at RM21,888 and RM25,888 respectively (excluding insurance), both models aim to elevate the entry-to mid-capacity sport bike segment with impressive four-cylinder performance.

The launch took place exclusively at the Zhejiang Qianjiang Motorcycle Group (QJMotor) headquarters in China, marking a significant moment for Malaysian motorcycle fans eager for these fresh multi-cylinder options.

Available in three colors; red, white and black, the SRK250RD is powered by a 249 cc inline four-cylinder engine, similar in configuration to the Kawasaki ZX-25R. Paired with a six-speed transmission, the engine produces 41 hp at 15,500 rpm and 22 Nm at 12,500 rpm.

Suspension duties are handled by USD forks up front and a rear monoshock, mounted on 17-inch alloy wheels with front tyre size 110/70 and rear 150/60. Braking is managed by a single 320 mm disc with four-piston Brembo calipers at the front and a 240 mm disc with a single-piston Brembo caliper at the rear, supported by dual-channel ABS.

On the electronics front, the SRK250RD is well-equipped with a traction control system, a seven-inch TFT display with smartphone connectivity, TPMS, front and rear cameras, and a USB charging port. Weighing 176 kg, the bike features a 16-liter fuel tank and an 808 mm seat height.

On the other hand, sharing the same chassis fundamentals as the SRK250RD, the SRK450RR is available also with three different colors: red, black, silver, steps things up with a 421 cc inline four-cylinder engine pushing out 77.6 hp at 14,000 rpm and 29 Nm at 13,000 rpm. Like its smaller sibling, it uses a six-speed transmission.

The SRK450RR also receives some upgrades, including USD Marzocchi forks with preload adjustability, twin 300 mm front discs with four-piston Brembo calipers, and a rear monoshock paired with a 240 mm disc and single-piston Brembo caliper. To enhance its sporty character, the bike features two riding modes; Street and Sport.

In terms of electronics, it mirrors its 250cc counterpart with a seven-inch TFT meter, smartphone connectivity, dual-channel ABS, and traction control. The fuel tank holds 16.5 liters, and the overall weight is 185 kg.

With these two models, QJMotor is clearly setting its sights on riders who crave high-revving performance and premium features, all at competitive pricing for the Malaysian market. With a significantly more competitive price, the highly acclaimed ZX25R now faces a formidable rival. Will it be able to overcome this challenge, or is it merely hype? We will find out shortly.
