Boon Siew Honda Sdn. Bhd. (BSH) successfully organized its inaugural “Honda Thanks Day 2025” yesterday 22nd October at LYL International Karting Circuit, held in conjunction with the PETRONAS Grand Prix of Malaysia 2025 (MotoGP).
Since 2005, Honda Thanks Day has been a staple celebration in Japan, with similar appreciation events held worldwide to honor Honda’s loyal fans, partners, and motorsport community. Rooted in the company’s “Power of Dreams” philosophy, the event symbolizes Honda’s enduring racing spirit, innovation, and commitment to creating joy through mobility.
Marking the first-ever localized Honda Thanks Day in Malaysia, this milestone event brought Honda’s global tradition closer to Malaysian fans and customers. Thousands of attendees including business partners, Honda owners, and motorcycle enthusiasts gathered to celebrate a day filled with gratitude, excitement, and the unmistakable spirit of Honda’s racing DNA.

The event served as a heartfelt gesture of appreciation toward Malaysian riders and fans who have supported Honda’s journey, strengthening the brand’s bond with the local community through thrilling showcases and exclusive appearances.
Fans were treated to an unforgettable experience as Honda’s MotoGP and Asia riders including Joan Mir, Luca Marini, and Somkiat Chantra made an exclusive appearance. Joining them were Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC) talents Muhammad Zaqhwan Zaidi, Azroy Hakeem Anuar, Khairul Idham Pawi, Muhammad Helmi Azman, and Muhammad Syarifuddin Azman from Honda Racing Malaysia.

During the event, MotoGP riders thrilled the crowd with an on-track demonstration aboard the Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade, showcasing world-class precision and performance. ARRC riders followed suit, displaying their skills on the Honda CBR1000RR-R and CBR600RR, further emphasizing Honda’s dedication to nurturing talent across regional and global levels of competition.
One of the biggest highlights of the event was the official unveiling of the Honda RS-X Winner Tricolor Edition, a limited-edition model inspired by Honda’s racing heritage. Featuring Racing Boy (RCB) premium components and distinctive Honda Tricolor graphics, this model captures the brand’s spirit of speed and performance.

Limited to just 800 units nationwide, the RS-X Winner Tricolor Edition made a striking debut as part of Honda’s commitment to blending style, engineering, and exclusivity for Malaysian riders.
Adding to the excitement, Honda Motorcycle Malaysia announced a new lifestyle collaboration with Pestle & Mortar Clothing (PMC). The collection features a racing jacket and pants, cap, black-and-white design T-shirts, and a utility bag, all bearing a co-branded emblem that showcases a crown, gold triple stripes, and the phrase “Semangat Impian.”
The apparel line was first previewed during Honda Thanks Day and will later be available for purchase throughout the MotoGP Malaysia 2025 weekend.
Fans were also treated to live performances by B-Heart, Black Hanifah, and a high-energy DJ set by DJ Fluffy, before the night concluded with an exciting lucky draw session. Prizes included exclusive MotoGP Corporate Suite Passes, a Honda ADV160, and the newly launched RS-X Winner Tricolor Edition.

The event also featured interactive displays and booths from RCB, KYT, Proformance, MAXXIS, RKM, Ashuka, Yoshimura, ThreeBond, Aeon Credit, JCL Credit, Berjaya Sompo, EMS, and PETRONAS, offering fans hands-on experiences with the latest products and innovations.
Kunitomo Asano, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Boon Siew Honda, shared, “Honda Thanks Day is a long-standing tradition in Japan, and similar customer appreciation events are held in various forms around the world. Here in Malaysia, this event reflects Honda’s commitment to sharing joy and excitement with our customers and society.
