Two hundred and fifty high-powered motorcycles will bring Negeri Sembilan to life in the Kembara Merdeka Akar Umbi 2.0 convoy, marking Malaysia’s National Month celebrations ahead of Merdeka Day.
A Journey Across Seven Districts
The convoy will cover more than 300 kilometres across the state, beginning in Jempol and passing through Jelebu, Seremban, Port Dickson, Rembau, and Tampin, before concluding at Dataran Budaya Seri Menanti in Kuala Pilah. Alongside the motorcycles, 50 escort vehicles will provide support and ensure the event runs smoothly.
Community Engagement Along the Way
More than just a show of horsepower, the event has a strong community focus. Riders will stop at several districts to carry out charitable activities, including aid distribution and social engagement with local residents. These initiatives highlight the convoy’s role in strengthening ties between bikers and the broader public while fostering the spirit of Merdeka.

High-Profile Participation
Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi will add prestige to the event by joining the convoy during its stop in Port Dickson, while the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) will manage traffic and ensure public safety along the route.
A Grand Finale at Seri Menanti
The convoy will culminate at Seri Menanti, where more than 8,000 visitors are expected to gather for a cultural showcase and community festivities. The highlight of the closing ceremony will be a fireworks display on the eve of Merdeka, symbolising unity and national pride.
A Celebration on Wheels
The Kembara Merdeka Akar Umbi 2.0 is more than a motorcycle convoy; it is a rolling celebration of Malaysia’s independence, blending power, culture, and community spirit. With the participation of riders, leaders, and citizens alike, Negeri Sembilan will not only witness the spectacle of 250 superbikes but also the deeper resonance of patriotism on the road to Merdeka.
