100 Motorcycles Donated to Cambodian Border Forces

Kampong Cham donated 100 motorcycles to support Cambodian forces at Preah Vihear and Oddar Meanchey. This boosts mobility and supply lines in defending the Thai border.

Cambodian frontline forces resisting Thai troops in the Preah Vihear and Oddar Meanchey border regions have received critical logistical support as Kampong Cham province donated 100 motorcycles to improve mobility and supply lines.

The contribution was led by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice Keut Rith. It was formally handed over during a ceremony at Kampong Cham Provincial School. The donation aims to strengthen the capacity of soldiers stationed in rugged terrain, where transportation has posed persistent challenges.

Support for Frontline Troops

During the event, Major General Chern Vanny, Deputy Commander of Division 3 in Preah Vihear province, expressed his gratitude to Kampong Cham Governor Un Chanda and Provincial Council Chairman Khlot Phon for mobilising resources in support of national defense.

He said he will distribute the motorcycles directly to units stationed along the frontline. The vehicles will transport supplies and equipment to mountainous areas, greatly easing the soldiers’ logistical burden.

Reinforcing Supply Lines

“The motorcycles will bridge the gap between the front lines and rear supply points,” said Maj. Gen. Vanny. “This support ensures that our forces can move faster, carry essentials more effectively, and remain fully equipped to face challenges in the border areas.”

The donation highlights the crucial role of provincial solidarity in supporting Cambodia’s armed forces. By reinforcing supply chains and mobility, Kampong Cham’s contribution strengthens not only the operational readiness of Division 3 but also the broader national effort to safeguard sovereignty along sensitive border areas.
