Honda has announced that it will showcase its futuristic mobility concept, the Honda Koraidon, at the 2025 FIM Endurance World Championship “Coca-Cola” Suzuka 8 Hours Endurance Road Race, held from August 1–3 at Suzuka Circuit in Mie Prefecture.
A collaboration with The Pokémon Company, the Honda Koraidon is modeled after Koraidon, a Legendary Pokémon from the Pokémon Scarlet video game. Developed by a team of 40 passionate engineers from Honda’s Motorcycle, Power Products, and Innovative Research divisions, the project aims to turn children’s dreams into reality through advanced manufacturing and simulation technology.
After first appearing at Honda Welcome Plaza Aoyama in March, the Honda Koraidon will now be exhibited at the Honda Racing Gallery on August 1–2. On August 3, fans will witness the Koraidon in motion for the first time as it performs a short showrun on the Suzuka Circuit’s main straight during the pre-race ceremony.
Featuring near life-size proportions, detailed construction, and Honda’s proprietary self-balancing tech, the Koraidon represents a bold fusion of pop culture and engineering.
This unique exhibit draws inspiration from last year’s “Toyota Miraidon” and continues the message, “Adults’ Devotion Makes Children’s Dreams Come True”, now adopted by Honda as “Honda’s Devotion Makes Children’s Dreams Come True.”
