Manuel Lettenbichler has once again conquered the Iron Giant. Riding with a blend of precision, endurance, and fearlessness, the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing rider stormed to victory at the 2025 Red Bull Erzbergrodeo. Thus, securing his fourth consecutive win at the world’s toughest hard enduro. The performance further cements his status as one of the sport’s modern greats and puts him within touching distance of the all-time Erzberg record held by KTM legend Taddy Blazusiak.

Lettenbichler’s weekend began with a solid showing in the Iron Road Prologue, where he clocked the 11th-fastest time, good enough to secure a front-row spot for Sunday’s brutal main event. Prologue honours went to EnduroGP championship leader Josep Garcia, followed by Andrea Verona and Dakar champion Daniel Sanders. But as always, Erzberg’s final race is where legends are mad,e and Lettenbichler was ready.

Launching off the line with sharp intent, Lettenbichler quickly slotted into the top five and set his sights on early leader Billy Bolt.

By the time the race reached the notoriously technical Carl’s Dinner section, Lettenbichler had reeled in the Brit and took advantage of a small mistake to grab the lead. From there, he never looked back.

Even as rain rolled in and the terrain worsened, Lettenbichler remained composed. Navigating one punishing section after another, he rode cleanly and smartly, steadily growing his lead. At the checkered flag, he had built a gap of over 12 minutes to second place—a staggering margin in a race where finishing at all is a feat.

“This place never gets easier,” Lettenbichler says at the finish. “I felt the pressure this time, but once I found my rhythm, I just focused on riding smooth and staying out of trouble. Everything clicked. Four wins in a row—it’s unreal. One more to match Taddy. That’s the goal.”

Behind the celebrations, FMF KTM Factory Racing’s Trystan Hart was fighting his own gritty battle. After a mid-pack start, the Canadian charged his way into podium contention, climbing to third and gaining on Bolt as the race progressed. But just two checkpoints from the end, Hart suffered a small mechanical issue and was forced to make repairs on the trail. Despite the setback, he pushed through to finish fifth—his fourth top-five finish at Erzberg in as many tries.

“I’m gutted,” Hart admitted. “I was right there. The pace felt good, I was climbing through the field, and I could smell the podium. But that’s Erzberg. It finds your limits. I’ll be back next year stronger.”

With Erzbergrodeo in the books, the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing team shifts focus to round two of the FIM Hard Enduro World Championship at Silver Kings in the United States. Lettenbichler leads the charge, hungry not just for another title, but for legacy.

If Calvi was about finesse, Erzberg was about force. And once again, Lettenbichler proved he’s built for both.
