Local rider Qabil Irfan is gearing up for the third round of the Spanish Superbike Championship (ESBK) at Circuito do Estoril in Portugal this weekend.
After a successful Moto4 testing session at the Circuito de Barcelona, Catalunya last Sunday, Qabil (Frando VHC Racing Team) feels confident and ready to compete.
In a statement, the rising talent expressed, “My goal is to stay competitive in the leading group in both races at Estoril. I hope to improve on my results from the round in Valencia. I will do my best to reach the podium this weekend. Please pray for my success here in Estoril.”
Qabil Irfan currently ranks seventh in the overall championship standings in the Moto4 category, with 44 points after the second round of ESBK in Valencia. Below are the current standings for Moto4:
