Ni Hsin EV Tech (NHEV) has received approval from the Road Transport Department (JPJ) to assemble and market two Ebixon TailG Bold and TailG Torque electric motorcycles.
NHEV in a statement has informed that the installation of the two CKD models will begin this November in Seri Kembangan, Selangor before entering the market next year.
Although NHEV is a new company, Managing Director Khoo Chee Keong has set high targets for the company’s electric motorcycles.
“We aim to sell 50,000 units of EBIXON EV Bikes in Malaysia and ASEAN within the next three years.
“We can expect the demand for EV motorcycles in this region to see rapid growth in the next three to 10 years, surpassing Europe and East Asia,” he states.
Interestingly, the Ebixon electric motorcycle features a system of two replaceable batteries and is capable of travelling as far as 200km.
Users can easily charge the Ebixon using a conventional charger socket at home or at a battery exchange station that will be placed in a strategic location.
