The BMW G 310 RR will join the G 310 R and G 310 GS which have been on the world market since 2015.
However, compared to the G 310 R and G 310 GS which appear as ‘roadster’ and ‘touring’ machines, the G 310 RR is a ‘sportbike’ model built based on the TVS Apache RR 310.
Many are expecting the G 310 RR to be present let alone since TVS and BMW teamed up in developing the Apache RR 310 for the Indian and global markets in 2018.
The cause of the delay could not be identified but according to BMW Motorrad India, the G 310 RR will be officially launched on July 15 with official distributors in the country already receiving orders.
Meanwhile, based on some teasers shared, the BMW G 310 RR is confirmed to offer some interesting features including an adjustable front and rear KYB suspension system, as well as a colour TFT display.
Interestingly, the latest ‘teaser’ also reveals the G 310 RR will get graphics and colours inspired by the S 1000 RR model.
In addition, the BMW G 310 RR is expected to be powered by a 313cc four-valve single-cylinder engine capable of producing 34hp at 9,500rpm and 27.3Nm at 7,500rpm similar to that offered by the Apache RR 310.
