Jonathan Rea maintained his lead in the championship at the Superbike World Championship (WSBK) race in Assen last Sunday.
The Briton Kawasaki rider was unbeatable this weekend, as he had already moved to the top of the championship in the first race.
On Sunday, Rea won two additional races (the Superpole and the second main race), while Pata Yamaha’s Toprak Razgatlioglu was forced to retire due to an accident. As a result of the Dutch’s journey, the six-time champion is now 37 points ahead of Turkey.

Scott Redding from Aruba.it Ducati team ranked 3rd in the championship with 81 points. Garrett Gerloff of GRT Yamaha remains the best independent with 20 points above Chaz Davies of Team GoEleven / Ducati despite not scoring in the second race. In terms of absolute ranking they are ranked sixth and ninth respectively.
Pata Yamaha’s Andrea Locatelli is the best rookie in tenth place after finishing third in the second race on Sunday.
Pata Yamaha scored 80 points ahead of Kawasaki and Aruba.it Ducati in third position with 97 points. GRT Yamaha scored 41 points ahead of Team GoEleven in the independent race. Kawasaki currently has a 27-point lead over Yamaha, with Ducati in third place with 30 points.
