MForce Bike Holdings Sdn. Bhd.’s home brand WMoto just introduced its new WMoto ES125 scooter today for the Malaysian market. Here are the details!

WMoto just pulled the cover off the all-new ES125 scooter earlier today for the Malaysian market. Speaking of the new scooter, the model comes in two variants, standard and SE edition. The standard WMoto ES125 is offered in three colours – red, black and grey meanwhile the special edition (SE) comes in an exclusive turquoise blue colour scheme.

The recommended sales price is RM 4,588 for the standard model and RM 4,888 for the ES125 special edition; excluding road tax, insurance and registration fee.

Speaking of the bike, the fairing on the ES125 is sharp and modern. Upfront, the ES125 features an LED headlamp unit with an integrated daytime running light. On the inside, the ES125 comes with a large 9-litre under-seat storage compartment and a dual-cockpit storage compartment in front with an inbuilt USB charging port.

In the case of the powerplant, the ES125 is powered by an air-cooled 118.8cc 4-stroke single-cylinder engine. Mated to a CVT, WMoto ES125 pushes 8.7 hp @ 7,500 rpm and 9.5 Nm of peak torque at 6,000 rpm.

Suspension duties are taken care of by telescopic front forks and KYB monoshock at the rear. In the case of braking, braking is done via disc brake at the front and drum brake at the rear.

Dimension wise, the WMoto ES125 weighs 95 kgs and Wmoto says because of its lightweight the fuel tank capacity of 3 litres is enough for short-distance travels.
