There is no doubt that the French exude elegance and exquisiteness. When it comes to fashion and art, there are no two ways of going about the fact that the French are held in high regard. Cedric Trenquir proves that his work is worthy of respect with the recognition from the nation’s daily newspapers and magazines alongside bike shows. His creations are consistently impressive, and this Ducati is no exception.

According to Pipeburn, Cedric operates under the banner of Cevennes Retro Motors. This hand-built Ducati shows magnificent craftsmanship and it will make your jaw drop. Cedric is known for his impeccable skills in hand shaping raw alloy. While most custom bikes are more of tweaks and upgrades, this Ducati 750SS is more than that. Almost nothing from the original bike remains and Cedric created a jig to hold the classic L-Twin using the best Chromoly.

Pipeburn notes that the elongated stretch towards the headstock creates a longer and lower stance for the bike. The crankshaft now sits further back to give a forward tilt engine layout. The swingarm from a Ducati S4R helps to amplify the profiles of the bike. The Fournales shock with billet alloy surround helps suspend the rear and blends with the rest of the design.

Kudos to Cedric for the parallelogram design! The Frenchman laid it out and crafted each piece largely from alloy and perfected it to its form and function. The custom callipers provide space for the front Ducati 1098 wheel to keep its twin brake discs, while the rear rim is also from the superbike.

The aluminium structure of the bike holds the main section of the body, the tank and most of the seat. The visuals are simply remarkable. Even the structural supports for the footpegs are will leave you in awe. As for the finishing touches, the coat of paint and polish of the Ducati engine give the bike a refreshing look.
