Indian manufacturer decides to create another version of the classic Bullet 500. The new Royal Enfield Bullet Trials remembers the feats of legendary rider Johnny Brittain.
Gone are the days that Royal Enfield dominated the Trials competitions like the International Six Days Trials. But the biggest feat was achieved by Johnny Brittain, who dominated Trials competitions for 15 years. At the time Brittain used the Bullet 350. But nowadays the Bullet 500 is the star of the Royal Enfield line-up and we just got a new variant to ride.
Royal Enfield just released information about the launch of the new Bullet Trials 500, set to reach the global market by August. There’s no information if this bike will get to Malaysia, but we’re hoping it does.
And what makes this Bullet Trials 500 so special?
First of all, this Trials variant gets a special paint scheme to make it stand out from the rest of the Bullet family. To make her easier to ride on the dirt, the tires get a new thread design for extra grip. The handlebar is reinforced with a transverse bar, protected with foam. And to top it all, the exhaust ends in an elevated silencer for extra ground clearance.
Although inspired on the classic Royal Enfield’s of the 1940s and 1950s, the Bullet Trials gets modern features. The 498 cc engine that is fitted with fuel injection. The brake system gets brakes on both ends. And for added safety, it’s fitted with ABS.
And if the standard Bullet Trials isn’t enough for you, Royal Enfield prepared a set of 30 different accessories.
