As we expected, Triumph isn’t going to stop teasing us before it reveals the new and much awaited Scrambler 1200, something that will happen on October 24, between the INTERMOT and EICMA motorcycle shows.
After a first video in which we couldn’t see much of the bike, this second video released today doesn’t show much more of the Scrambler 1200, but it’s still another moment where we can satisfy our curiosity about this “off road” model from the Hinckley manufacturer.
Even though we can’t see the whole bike in one shot, Triumph has started to give us a taste of the Scrambler 1200 features: a single headlight with a centralized Triumph logo, a side-mounted twin exhaust, a pair of upside down golden fork legs and a decently sized bash plate to protect that powerful engine.
Triumph calls the Scrambler 1200 “The Real Deal”, but we’ll need to wait a few more weeks before we can truly see if this is a real scrambler or just another retro-looking bike with long travel suspensions and spoked-wheels.
