Ducati has unveiled its brand new 2018 Monster 821 a month prior to its launch. An icon for a great span of time in the industry, Ducati Monster has made some changes to its new 821 model.
The 821 has similar features to the first Monster 900. However, the fuel tank is redesigned but has a similar lock opening mechanism from it. The tail section is altered to a slimmer unit and it also has a double barrel exhaust, exerting a contemporary and classy look.
The model is available in three modes, namely Sport, Touring and Uban. It also has a 30level Bosch BS and 8-level Traction Control. It has a quick shift (up/down) and the Ducati Multimedia System as optional.
On to the internal aspects, the bike is powered by a 821 cc, Testasretta twin-cylinder motor which delivers 108 bhp at 9250 rpm and 86 Nm of peak torque at 7750 rpm. It has a 6-speed gearbox and the power went down about 2 bhp due to the Euro 4 emissions.
Not to mention, it comes in a new yellow shade. It also is made available in red and matte black.
The bikes will be introduced in November 5 2017 at the Ducati World Premier and later the EICMA Motorcycle Show in Milan in November 9-12.
