Italian luxury scooter manufacturer, Italjet, has officially announced that the Italjet Dragster GP500 which was exhibited as a concept model at EICMA last year will be officially launched in 2024.
Italjet made the official announcement through a post on its official social media.
Developed with the same mould as the Dragster 125 and 200, the Dragster GP500 comes with more high-performance equipment.
It comes with a single-cylinder 450cc 4-stroke DOHC engine with liquid cooling. It is capable of producing 43hp at 8,000rpm and 43Nm at 6,000rpm.
Interestingly, compared to the 125cc and 200cc variants that offer a conventional scooter ride with automatic gear, the Dragster GP500 comes with a 6-speed manual gear.
Other features on offer include Brembo brake callipers paired with 270mm front and 230mm rear brake discs. This bike also features ABS functionality as standard.
At the same time, this Dragster GP500 has a 12L tank and comes with a (dry) weight of around 180kg.
Taking into account the features offered certainly makes this Dragster GP500 a model quite unique in its class.
