Ride Iftar to Charity Care Centre Asyura Marks 15th CSR Initiative

Second CSR campaign of 2026 sees the team riding to Sungai Buloh to break fast with orphans and underprivileged children.

iMotorbike continued its commitment to community outreach with a special CSR Ride Iftar to Charity Care Centre Asyura on 26th February. The initiative marks iMotorbike’s second CSR campaign for 2026 and the 15th CSR initiative overall by Glenmarie HQ.

Also known as Pusat Jagaan Amal Asyura or Pertubuhan Kebajikan Pendidikan Amal Asyura, the centre was founded by Puan Hana in 2014 and is dedicated to caring for and educating orphans as well as underprivileged (asnaf) children in Sungai Buloh.

Currently, the home provides shelter and support to more than 35 children from various challenging backgrounds. Many have experienced abandonment, financial hardship, or the loss of parents. Despite their difficult pasts, the centre offers them a safe and nurturing environment they can call home.

However, the charity operates without a fixed income. Its sustainability depends heavily on public donations, volunteers, and small fundraising efforts such as selling frozen food products. At times, limited funds make it difficult to cover operational costs, highlighting the importance of continued community support. 

As part of the initiative, the iMotorbike team organised a group ride to the centre, departing at 6:15PM and travelling via NKVE before passing through Guthrie, navigating through moderately heavy traffic along the way. The convoy arrived around 7PM, where they were warmly welcomed by Puan Hana and the centre’s staff.

The evening was filled with meaningful moments as the team broke fast together with the children and staff, performed prayers, and spent quality time engaging with the kids. Adding extra excitement to the visit, the children were given the opportunity to sit on the motorcycles and enjoy short, supervised fun rides, an experience that brought smiles and laughter all around.

The CSR Ride Iftar not only strengthened bonds between the iMotorbike team and the children but also reinforced the company’s mission of giving back through both material support and heartfelt connection.

With consistent efforts across its locations, iMotorbike remains committed to making a positive impact with one ride, one visit, and one community at a time.
