Race week began with promise as Hakim Danish clocked the 4th fastest time in Free Practice 1, demonstrating impressive adaptability. Although he dropped to 12th in Free Practice 2, he still managed to improve on his lap time. The Qualifying session was fiercely competitive, with just one second covering the top 20 riders. Hakim secured P13 on the grid, while pole position went to Kyrgyzstan’s Yaroslav Karpushin.

Race 1 was run in wet conditions, adding another layer of difficulty. Hakim rode maturely, opting for consistency over risk as tyre grip proved unreliable and the track remained slippery. His decision to manage rather than push beyond the limit paid off, as he crossed the line in 10th place, collecting valuable points.

“The wet and slippery track conditions were quite challenging, especially with the lack of grip and comfort on the tyres. But I’ve learnt a lot from this race,” said Hakim.

Race 2: A Fall, a Recovery, and a Champion’s Spirit

Race 2 took place under clear skies and dry conditions, setting the stage for an intense 19-lap battle. Again, starting from 13th, Hakim made a blistering start, climbing to 9th by the first corner after a brave move in traffic. He maintained a solid pace, but disaster struck on lap 4 when a front-end slide caused him to crash at Turn 1 due to over-braking.

Despite the fall, Hakim quickly remounted and rejoined the race, determined to see the chequered flag. Though he finished 19th and out of the points, his perseverance reflected a maturity beyond his years.

“I was disappointed after crashing due to over-braking. It’s a lesson I’ll carry forward, and I’ll work hard to avoid making the same mistake again. There are still four more races this season, and I’ll keep fighting until the final chequered flag.”

Still Leading the Championship Battle

Despite the mixed weekend, Hakim remains at the top of the overall standings, maintaining a 13-point lead over closest rival Brian Uriarte. With four races remaining in the 2025 season, Hakim’s focus, resilience, and continuous growth mark him as a true contender for the title.
