QJMotor is increasingly known due to its success in marketing motorcycles of various capacities at more affordable prices. QJMotor’s subsidiary, Benelli is strong proof of the Chinese motorcycle manufacturer’s success when the brand is gaining ground in Europe through the TRK 502.
So far, QJMotor has various new models ranging from 50cc to 800cc models. Some big names have also established close cooperation with QJMotor, including Harley-Davidson and MV Agusta.
Recently, QJMotor introduced its latest GS550 in China. Featuring a ‘sportsbike’ machine design, the GS550 is powered by a 554cc DOHC parallel-twin engine with liquid cooling that offers 57.2hp and 51Nm.
Interestingly, the platform is the same engine that will power the MV Agusta Lucky Explorer 5.5.
Despite appearing as a ‘sportsbike’ for new riders, the GS550 offers a variety of interesting features including a ‘single-sided’ swingarm. This model is also equipped with ‘winglets’ on the left and right side of the body panel.
QJMotor also installed premium components such as the Kayaba (KYB) suspension system and Brembo brake callipers.
Other exciting features on offer include a colour TFT screen display and a keyless entry system.
