iM Cubaholic EP.18: Custom Short Honda Super Cub With Two Engines!

iM Cubaholic EP.18: Custom Short Honda Super Cub With Two Engines!

Check out this custom Honda Super Cub build that has transformed a stock Super Cub into a short Cub with two engines!

In case you missed last week’s episode, iMotorbike’s weekly iM Cubaholic series covers everything about the iconic Honda Cubs. The Cub is one of the most important bikes in both the motorcycle and Honda’s history. Honda changed the way people look at riding motorcycles with the introduction of the Super cub and the ad campaign “You meet the nicest people on a Honda” back in the 1950s. Since then, Honda has sold over 100 million Cubs with a large Cub lineup/variants where some models are barely known. In this series, we cover everything from both known and unknown Cub models to their; history, specs, features and many more. Are you a Cub addict? well, this is something you wouldn’t want to miss!

On this week’s episode, we are back again with another mindblowing Honda Super Cub build. This time it’s not a Super Cub build with a crazy engine swap. The build we are feating this week is actually something beyond imagination. Here is a question for you; have you ever seen a short Honda Super Cub or a Honda Super Cub with two engines? Well, check out this custom short Honda Super Cub with two engines! No, we are not kidding! Here, have a look.

The Shorty

We have seen some bizarre motorcycle builds from Japan. The inline-4 Honda Super Cub build from Japan that we featured a few months back made us think things couldn’t get more interesting than that. But boy, were we wrong………

A few days back we stumbled upon this “Short” Honda Super Cub with two engines. It doesn’t have a name, because there are no details have been published yet. Therefore, for namesake, we are just going to refer to it as “Shorty”.

The Details

Although we don’t have many details of this build, here are a few things we can tell you about the shorty. Judging from the look of the bike, whoever built this used either a stock Honda Super Cub C90 or C70 for the job. The front part of the donor frame has been chopped to make the bike shorter and we think the genius behind this has done a damn good job. Comparing with the stock frame of the Cub,  the front tube has been cut and the head tube that connects the handlebar and front fork has been directly welded to the tank to make the ride narrow.

Aside from this everything else looks stock, except the two engines mounted on both sides. Well, we don’t have much info on the engine but we think it’s a pair of stock Honda Super Cub (C70 or C90) engines. However, looking closely at the twin sprocket without any chains and a single spark plug on the right, it looks like the project is still ongoing. We are wondering how the final set up would look like, especially linking both the engines together with the gearbox. Want to know more about this project? We are trying our best to get full details of this build so follow us to get more updates!
