Zero Motorcycles has just revealed its all-new SR/F streetfighter in Amsterdam, Netherlands, which it claims to portray “industry-leading power, control, and connection.” The bike comes with massive upgrades such as improvements in range capability and recharging time, featuring the best of both worlds in terms of style with its electric power train and conventional naked streetfighter exterior. “The bike was inspired and influenced by the same things that inspire designers that are working on internal combustion bikes,” said Brian Wismann, Vice President of Product Development. “I don’t want anybody to think that this was meant to look like an electric Ducati, or Triumph – it’s not a derivative design, but having an understanding of where this cultural reference for having beautiful machines comes from and then integrating some of those design elements into the SR/F are pertinent in describing why it looks as good as it does.” The new Zero SR/F comes with 200-mile range potential. It takes one hour to recharge to 95% and is able to churn out 110bhp/ 140lbft. The bike caps its weight at 226kg. Two of its models will be available this May.
