Vespa has expanded its growing lifestyle portfolio with the launch of the Vespa Gigi Edition, an exclusive limited-edition scooter created in collaboration with luxury hospitality brand Gigi. Inspired by the carefree spirit of the Italian Riviera, the special edition combines classic Vespa styling with bespoke design elements that capture the essence of a Mediterranean summer.

The collaboration brings together two brands that share a common philosophy centred around elegance, freedom and the Italian way of life. According to Vespa, the partnership reflects its continued effort to move beyond mobility by creating products that blend design, fashion and lifestyle.

Vespa Gigi Edition

A Riviera-inspired design

The Vespa Gigi Edition immediately stands out with its vibrant sun-yellow livery, chosen as a tribute to Gigi’s origins while evoking the warmth of the Mediterranean coastline.

Complementing the striking paintwork is a cognac-coloured padded seat with ivory stitching, adding a premium handcrafted finish. At the front, the fairing features a decorative tie inspired by Gigi’s signature striped beach parasols, while a front luggage rack fitted with leather straps is designed to carry a beach towel. The Gigi logo is also prominently displayed on the front shield.

At the rear, the scooter is equipped with a chrome luggage rack topped with a wicker basket, reinforcing its beachside theme. Completing the retro-inspired look are ivory-white wheels paired with classic whitewall tyres, paying homage to the Vespas that once roamed the streets of Saint-Tropez during the golden age of the Riviera.

Vespa Gigi Edition

Built for collectors

Rather than being a mass-production model, the Vespa Gigi Edition has been created as an exclusive collector’s item.

The scooter will be displayed throughout the summer season beneath the pine trees at Gigi Saint-Tropez, where it is expected to become one of the destination’s signature attractions. Production will be limited, with each unit available only by special order through Vespa.

Pricing starts from €12,000 (RM55,100), placing it well above the cost of a standard Vespa and firmly positioning it as a premium lifestyle collectible aimed at enthusiasts and collectors.

The Vespa Gigi Edition joins a growing list of exclusive Vespa collaborations that celebrate Italian craftsmanship, design and culture, further reinforcing the iconic scooter’s position as both a mode of transport and a global lifestyle symbol.
