WMoto Griffin 205 Arrives in Malaysia, Priced at RM8,888

WMoto has expanded its scooter lineup in Malaysia with the launch of the all-new WMoto Griffin 205, offering riders an affordable and well-equipped urban commuter priced at RM8,888, excluding road tax, insurance and registration. Introduced by MForce Bike Holdings, the Griffin 205 is available in four colour options: White, Grey, Blue and Red.

Powering the new scooter is a 198.8cc, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected single-cylinder engine paired with a CVT automatic transmission. The engine produces 19.7hp at 8,250rpm and 17.4Nm of torque at 6,250rpm, providing enough performance for daily commuting as well as occasional highway riding.

The Griffin 205 rides on 14-inch wheels wrapped with 100/80 front and 120/70 rear tyres. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic front forks and twin rear shock absorbers with external reservoirs, offering a balance between ride comfort and stability.

Braking is managed by disc brakes at both the front and rear, complemented by a dual-channel Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) as standard, enhancing rider confidence in various riding conditions.

One of the scooter’s standout features is its full-colour TFT instrument panel, which displays essential riding information through a modern digital interface. The Griffin 205 also comes equipped with a smart key system, eliminating the need for a conventional key while improving convenience.

Practicality is another strong point, with the scooter offering a large under-seat storage compartment alongside a front storage pocket that houses both USB Type-A and USB Type-C charging ports, allowing riders to charge their devices while on the move.

Adding to its value, the Griffin 205 is fitted with full LED lighting, a comfortable seat complete with a passenger backrest, and a front-mounted video recorder (dashcam) as standard equipment, features that are rarely seen in this price segment.

The scooter also comes with an 11-litre fuel tank, providing a respectable riding range between fuel stops, making it suitable for everyday commuting and longer weekend rides.
