Ariic have introduced two of their newest scooters at Malaysia Bike Show 2026, the Ariic Touch 250 and the Ariic Gobi 250, adding two more interesting choices for riders out there.

Officially distributed by MForce Bike Holdings, the Touch 250 is priced at RM13,688, while the Gobi 250 is priced at  RM 13,988,  not including road tax, insurance, and registration.

Both scooters come in three different colour schemes. The touch 250 comes in Matt Black, Urban Green, and Phantom Grey. while the Gobi 250 comes in Carbon Black, Velocity Grey, and Mystic Purple.

Marketed as a modern and adventure styled scooter, both scooters are able to give riders a choice of two scooters with different styling and advanced technology at a very affordable price.

Both scooters use the same engine, a 249cc single-cylinder engine that comes with liquid-cooled. This engine produces 22.4 hp at 8,000 rpm and 23.5 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm, and the power is delivered to the rear wheel through an automatic CVT transmission with final belt drive.

The Touch 250 uses 13-inch wheels made out of cast alloy for both front and rear, paired with 110/80 tyres in the front and 130/70 tyres in the rear. While the Gobi 250 uses spoked wheels sized 14-inch with 110/80 tyres in the front, and 13-inch with 130/70 tyres in the rear.

Both scooters use the same twin shock absorber setup for the rear suspension, but what sets it apart is the front suspension. The Touch 250 uses front telescopic forks, while the Gobi 250 uses Upside-Down telescopic forks.

Both scooters come with the same braking performance, brake discs for both the front and rear, and are supported with a two-channel ABS system for a more confident and safe ride. What helps to add to the element of safety for both scooters is the Traction Control system that comes standard for both scooters.

The practicality for both scooters is further enhanced with a large storage compartment under the seat, big enough to fit a full-face helmet and also small storage pockets under the front cowl. Modern features include a smart key system, a DVR camera in the front and USB charging port. Both scooters come with a 7-inch TFT-LCD screen, while LED lights are used throughout.

Both scooters come standard with a windshield, but what sets it off is how they each operate. The Touch 250 comes with an electronically adjustable windshield while the Gobi 250 comes with a manually adjustable one. The fuel tank capacity for both scooters are different as well. The Touch 250 is rated at 13-liters, while the Gobi 250 is rated at 12.5-liters.

With a modern, adventure design, modern electronics and practical daily features, both of these scooters are able to be strong contenders in the 250cc scooter segment in Malaysia. Both of these scooters could be an interesting choice for riders who are looking for a high technology scooter at a very reasonable price.
