Shared Platform with Lightweight Performance
The entire KTM 390 range is built around KTM’s latest 398.7 cc LC4c single-cylinder engine paired with the brand’s signature steel trellis frame.
All four models produce 44.38 horsepower and 39 Nm of torque, delivered through a six-speed gearbox, while KTM also claims reduced ownership costs thanks to extended 10,000 km service intervals across the lineup.
According to Goi Seong Keng, National Marketing Manager of KTM Malaysia, the new range was developed to suit the growing diversity of Malaysian riders.
“We’re back. This launch marks a significant step forward for KTM Malaysia as we meet the growing demands across daily riding, touring, supermoto performance and off-road exploration,” he said.

Adventure R Focuses on Serious Off-Road Capability
The KTM 390 Adventure R stands out as the most off-road-capable model in this segment, spearheading the brand’s adventure lineup.
The motorcycle is equipped with a rally-inspired windshield for superior weather protection and long-distance comfort, complemented by a 5-inch TFT display and versatile ride modes including Street, Rain, and Off-Road.
To optimize its performance on rugged terrain, the bike features a WP APEX Separate Piston monoshock at the rear and a 43mm WP APEX Open Cartridge fork providing 230mm of travel at the front.
Safety and control are further bolstered by Offroad ABS, Cornering ABS, and a Motorcycle Traction Control (MTC) system utilizing cornering technology.

Adventure X Offers More Accessible Touring
The KTM 390 Adventure X is designed as a road-focused variant that emphasizes touring comfort and accessible off-road ability for beginners.
Equipped with a 14-litre fuel tank and a reduced seat height of 825 mm, it is well-suited for long-distance travel and light adventures on gravel. The model utilizes a standard WP Apex suspension system and includes Offroad ABS.

Enduro R Brings Lightweight Dual-Sport Character
The KTM 390 Enduro R, influenced by the more powerful KTM 690 Enduro R, now stands as the most compact Enduro R variant in the manufacturer’s collection.
With a dry weight of just 159 kg, this motorcycle features a 21-inch front and 18-inch rear spoked wheel configuration. These components are engineered for challenging off-road conditions while ensuring the bike remains completely road-legal for city commuting.
According to KTM, the ergonomics of the 390 Enduro R are tailored for seamless shifts between spirited dirt riding and routine street use. Its suspension system utilizes WP APEX technology combined with Offroad ABS to harmonize gravel-tracking performance with on-road comfort. Furthermore, the model is equipped with a 14-litre fuel tank.

390 SMC R Introduces Lightweight Supermoto Fun
The KTM 390 SMC R also marks KTM’s first low-displacement supermoto model, acting as an entry point into the segment alongside the larger KTM 690 SMC R.
The motorcycle comes equipped with a 4.2-inch TFT display, Street and Sport riding modes, as well as Supermoto ABS designed to allow controlled rear-wheel slides while maintaining front-end stability.

390 Duke Gets New Colours
Alongside the new dual-purpose lineup, KTM Malaysia also confirmed the arrival of updated colourways for the KTM 390 Duke. The refreshed naked bike is expected to arrive in Malaysian showrooms by Q4 2026.
With the introduction of its expanded 390 range, KTM Malaysia is clearly targeting a wider spectrum of riders, from urban commuters and touring enthusiasts to serious off-road and supermoto fans.
