Boon Siew Honda has officially unveiled the updated 2026 Honda ADV160 during the Malaysia Bike Show 2026 at MAEPS Serdang, introducing new connectivity features aimed at enhancing the everyday riding experience.
The popular adventure scooter is now available in two variants, with the ADV160 RoadSync priced at RM13,649 and the ADV160 ABS priced at RM13,249. Both prices exclude insurance. Boon Siew Honda also backs the scooter with a two-year or 20,000km manufacturing warranty, whichever comes first, for added peace of mind.
The biggest highlight of the 2026 ADV160 is the introduction of the Honda RoadSync system on the premium variant, making it the latest model in Honda’s adventure family to receive the connectivity feature.
With the launch, the X-ADV 750, ADV350 and ADV160 are now all available with Honda RoadSync, further strengthening Honda’s presence in Malaysia’s growing adventure scooter segment.
The new ADV160 RoadSync comes equipped with a five-inch TFT display that can be paired with a rider’s smartphone through the Honda RoadSync application.

Once connected, riders can access various functions including:
- Turn-by-turn navigation
- Incoming call notifications
- Message display
- Music control
To support the new system, Honda has also redesigned the switchgear on the left handlebar, providing easier access to the TFT display controls while riding.
Meanwhile, the standard ADV160 ABS variant retains the conventional digital display and does not feature RoadSync connectivity. Aside from the new body side panel design, both variants remain visually similar.

Under the bodywork, the ADV160 continues to be powered by Honda’s proven 156.9cc eSP+ liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine paired with a CVT transmission.
The engine produces 16 PS at 8,500 rpm and 14.7 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm, offering a balance of performance, fuel efficiency and daily practicality.
Other features carried over include:
- Front and rear disc brakes
- ABS braking system
- 14-inch front wheel and 13-inch rear wheel
- Twin Showa rear shock absorbers with external reservoirs
- Adjustable windscreen
- USB charging port
- 30-litre under-seat storage compartment
- 8.1-litre fuel tank
Speaking during the launch, Kunitomo Asano highlighted Honda’s pioneering role in the adventure motorcycle segment.
“Honda saw the potential and vision beyond others. We created a category that did not exist,” said Asano. “As the pioneer of the adventure market in motorcycles, we have been meticulously observant and diligent in listening to our customers’ feedback to refine our next product,” he added.
Honda emphasized that the ADV160 ABS continues to offer the same rugged styling, versatility and practicality that have made the ADV series popular among Malaysian riders, while the new RoadSync variant brings additional convenience for those seeking a more connected riding experience.
The 2026 Honda ADV160 is scheduled to arrive at all Honda Impian X and authorised dealerships nationwide from June 11, 2026 onwards.
