Harley-Davidson Malaysia has strengthened its position in the sport touring segment after the Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250 ST was named Sport Touring Motorcycle of the Year at the Allianz – BikesRepublic Motorcycle of the Year Awards 2026.

The recognition reflects the model’s growing momentum in the Malaysian market, particularly among riders seeking a balance of performance, comfort and rugged character for long-distance touring.

Selected by a panel of industry judges and experienced riders, the Pan America 1250 ST stood out for its versatility, advanced electronics and rider-focused ergonomics. The motorcycle is designed to perform comfortably on highways while maintaining agility on winding roads, including highland routes and technical corners.

At the heart of the model is the Revolution Max 1250 engine, which delivers smooth and responsive power across the entire rev range. Its linear power delivery makes it suitable for both spirited riding and relaxed cruising, aligning well with the demands of sport touring riders who value both performance and control.

The Pan America 1250 ST also features a riding position optimised for long-distance comfort without compromising handling dynamics. In addition, selectable riding modes allow the motorcycle to adapt to different road and weather conditions, further enhancing rider confidence.

According to Goh Kian Sin, the recognition reflects the brand’s continued focus on innovation and evolving rider expectations. He noted that the Pan America 1250 ST represents a new direction for Harley-Davidson in Malaysia, offering a more refined and modern sport touring experience for today’s riders.
