Cardo Systems, a global leader in wireless communication solutions for powersports riders, has officially unveiled the PACKTALK-S and 4X-S, two new integrated communication systems developed specifically for Shoei Gen 3 helmets.
Unlike conventional clamp-on devices, both models are designed to integrate directly into Shoei’s helmet architecture. This creates a cleaner, more aerodynamic profile while delivering a balanced fit that feels like a natural extension of the helmet rather than an external add-on.

Built specifically for Shoei’s latest helmets
Both systems are designed for the Shoei GT-Air 3, NEOTEC 3, and J-Cruise 3. They fit perfectly into the helmet’s dedicated communication space. Because of this, Shoei’s original aerodynamics, comfort, and safety remain unchanged.
At the same time, the integrated design removes the need for external mounting. This gives the helmet a cleaner, factory-installed appearance.
According to Cardo Systems, rider feedback played a big role in this development.
“We’ve heard from riders for years that they want better integration,” said Dan Emodi, Chief Marketing Officer at Cardo Systems. “With the PACKTALK-S, we created a solution that delivers the full Cardo experience in a more seamless design.”

Two options for different riding styles
Cardo offers two versions to suit different riders. Each system is based on the brand’s proven communication technology.
PACKTALK-S for group riding
First, the PACKTALK-S is designed for riders who travel in larger groups. It uses second-generation Dynamic Mesh Communication (DMC) for stable connections.
Key features include:
- Up to 1.6 km range between riders
- High-quality 40 mm JBL speakers
- Up to 13 hours of talk time
Because of this, it is ideal for long-distance group rides.
4X-S for smaller groups
On the other hand, the 4X-S is built for smaller groups. It uses a Bluetooth intercom system that is simple and effective.
It offers:
- Live Bluetooth communication
- 40 mm JBL speakers
- Support for up to four riders
Therefore, it is a great option for casual rides or smaller groups.
Available starting April
Both systems will be available from April. Riders can order both models directly from cardosystems.com.
A more connected riding experience
With this launch, Cardo Systems continues to improve rider communication. At the same time, the brand focuses on better integration and user experience.
In short, the PACKTALK-S and 4X-S bring a cleaner design, strong performance, and reliable connectivity. For Shoei users, this means a smarter and more seamless way to stay connected on the road.
