Boon Siew Honda (BSH) has reinforced its position in the Malaysian motorcycle industry after securing six major awards at the Allianz – Bikes Republic Motorcycle of the Year (MMOTY) Awards 2026.

Held at Tropicana Golf and Country Resort, the ceremony recognised Honda’s achievements across multiple segments, particularly in scooters, performance bikes and technology innovation.

Six Major Wins Across Key Categories

Honda’s strong showing at the awards saw it take top honours in several categories:

  • Naked Bike of the Year (Below 800cc): Honda CB650R E-Clutch
  • Scooter of the Year (Above 250cc): Honda ADV350
  • Sportbike of the Year (Below 1000cc): Honda CBR650R
  • Adventure Scooter of the Year: Honda X-ADV
  • Motorcycle Technology of the Year: Honda E-Clutch system
  • Malaysian Innovator of the Year: Honda Gold Wing Airbag

The recognition highlights Honda’s continued focus on combining performance, versatility and advanced technology across its lineup.

According to Kunitomo Asano, the awards reflect the company’s commitment to delivering innovation and safety for Malaysian riders.

He also noted that Honda continues to focus on developing products that cater to a wide range of users, from daily commuters to premium touring riders.

Expanding Big Wing Network in Northern Region

Alongside its product achievements, BSH also announced an expansion of its Honda Big Wing premium dealer network, increasing the total number of outlets nationwide from seven to nine.

Two new authorised dealers have been appointed in the northern region:

  • Sin Sum Sun Motor Sdn. Bhd.
  • Thye Seng Motor Sdn. Bhd.

Both outlets are expected to begin operations in the second half of 2026, aimed at improving accessibility to Honda’s premium models and services in the northern states.

Continued Momentum for Honda

The latest achievement builds on Honda’s success in 2025, further strengthening its presence across multiple segments in Malaysia.

With strong product recognition and network expansion underway, Boon Siew Honda continues to position itself as a key player in both the mainstream and premium motorcycle market.
