Ducati has unveiled a new Sport Livery for the Ducati Monster V2, expanding the model’s colour lineup alongside the existing Ducati Red and Iceberg White options. The new colour scheme is expected to arrive at dealerships starting April 2026.

The introduction of the Sport Livery follows the launch of the latest Monster V2 last October, which brought significant updates to the iconic naked bike. One of the biggest highlights of the updated model is the introduction of a new 890cc V2 engine equipped with IVT (Intake Variable Timing) technology.

Visually, the Sport Livery gives the Monster V2 a more aggressive and sporty appearance compared to the standard colour options. Ducati says the design takes inspiration from the colour scheme of the legendary Ducati Monster S4, the first four-valve Monster ever produced.

The livery combines grey bodywork with Racing Red accents, including red wheels and detailing on the seat, flyscreen, tail section and fuel tank. According to Ducati, the combination creates a look that blends sportiness with a touch of elegance, highlighting the Monster’s performance-focused character.

The new Sport Livery will also be available for the Monster Plus version, which comes standard with additional features such as a front flyscreen and passenger seat cover.

Under the bodywork, the Monster V2 continues to be powered by the 890cc V2 engine, which is almost six kilograms lighter than the previous Testastretta unit. The engine produces 111 hp at 9,000 rpm and 91.1 Nm of torque at 7,250 rpm, delivering strong performance for everyday riding and spirited road use.

The motorcycle is built around an aluminium monocoque frame that bolts directly to the cylinder heads, contributing to improved rigidity and weight reduction. A technopolymer trellis-style subframe and a double-sided swingarm inspired by the hollow design of the Ducati Panigale V4 are also part of the chassis setup.

In terms of electronics, the Monster V2 is equipped with a comprehensive rider assistance package including Cornering ABS, Traction Control, Wheelie Control and adjustable Engine Brake Control. All riding information is displayed through a 5-inch colour TFT display, while riders can choose between four riding modes to suit different riding conditions.

Ducati also notes that the Monster V2 can be optionally equipped with Cruise Control, further enhancing its practicality for longer rides.

With the addition of the new Sport Livery, Ducati aims to give the Monster V2 lineup an extra visual edge while maintaining the performance and technology that define the modern Monster range.
