Season 2026 of the MAM Malaysia Superbike Championship (MSBK) will roar into action in May with a four-round calendar, as the long-standing collaboration between Petronas Sepang International Circuit (SIC) and Two Wheels Motor Racing Sdn. Bhd. (TWMR) continues to push the championship to new heights.
The partnership remains anchored on a shared ambition, to progressively elevate the standards of motorcycle racing in Malaysia while offering a competitive platform for both professional riders and passionate privateers.
Growing Global Recognition
According to Ron Hogg, Promotions Director of TWMR, the 2025 season marked another milestone for MSBK, with participation expanding to include more countries, riders and teams than before.
This widening diversity, he noted, reflects increasing confidence in MSBK as a credible competition and development platform. Exposure to a broader mix of racing styles and strategies gives riders valuable international experience, preparing them for higher levels of competition beyond Malaysia.
Looking ahead to 2026, the championship aims to further broaden its reach and participation base. Entries have already been confirmed from neighbouring countries and beyond, underlining MSBK’s strengthening international profile.

Strong Foundation at Sepang
SIC Chief Executive Officer Azhan Shafriman Hanif credited TWMR’s role in driving the championship’s growth since 2019, highlighting how the series has evolved into more than just a racing platform.
MSBK now plays a role in boosting motorsport tourism, attracting fans from across the region to the world-class Sepang circuit. The championship also creates opportunities for brands and partners to connect with a diverse and growing audience within the sport.
With a compact but competitive four-round format, MSBK 2026 is set to deliver intense racing while continuing its mission of nurturing talent and strengthening Malaysia’s presence on the global motorcycle racing stage.
