Idemitsu Honda Racing Malaysia named International 2-Wheel Team of the Year as Azroy Hakeem crowned National Circuit Racing Rider of the Year.

Honda Racing Malaysia (HRM), the official racing arm of Boon Siew Honda Sdn. Bhd., celebrated a night of major achievements after receiving two prestigious awards at the Motorsports Association of Malaysia (MAM) Awards Night.
Competing under the banner of Idemitsu Honda Racing Malaysia, the team was named International 2-Wheel Team of the Year following an impressive campaign in the Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC), particularly in the ASB1000 category.
Throughout the season, the team showcased remarkable consistency by securing podium finishes in every round. The strong results reflected Honda’s engineering capability, sharp race strategy, and competitive racing DNA, backed by title sponsor Idemitsu Lube Malaysia Sdn. Bhd.
The international success was a collective effort, with riders, engineers, and the technical crew working tirelessly across the championship. Their consistent performances on the regional stage ultimately earned them the distinguished recognition from MAM.

Adding further glory to the evening, Azroy Hakeem Anuar was crowned National Circuit Racing Rider of the Year. The accolade recognises his outstanding performances across multiple championships during the season.
Azroy delivered dominant results, including double victories in ARRC Round 2 at Sepang and two double wins in the Malaysia Superbike Championship (MSBK), underlining his status as one of the top national circuit racers.
Zulhelmi Ahmad, Team Manager of Idemitsu Honda Racing Malaysia, credited the achievement to the entire team and its strong support system.
“This recognition reflects the collective effort behind Honda Racing Malaysia, made possible through the trust and support of Boon Siew Honda’s management, together with our sponsors, riders, engineers, and the entire technical and support team. The continued commitment from all our partners, including our title sponsor Idemitsu, has been instrumental in enabling us to compete consistently at a high level throughout the championship,” he said.
With momentum firmly on their side, Honda Racing Malaysia remains committed to developing young talents and competing at the highest level, reinforcing its position as a key force in both national and international motorcycle racing.
