The Winter Test at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve was significantly impacted by persistent rainfall, disrupting the team’s plans for the day. The wet track conditions severely restricted track time and made it challenging to carry out the full testing schedule.
Hakim Danish, who had thoroughly prepared mentally and physically for the season ahead, expressed his disappointment at not fully maximizing the session. “It was great to ride the Moto3 bike with my team yesterday. Unfortunately, rain affected the session, so we couldn’t do as much as we’d hoped. However, I tested a few new setups specifically for wet conditions, which was useful. While I couldn’t fully showcase my potential, we still gathered important data.”
Despite the setbacks, Hakim and his team made the best of the situation, focusing on gathering valuable data in the wet conditions that will assist in their technical preparations for the upcoming season. “I’m hoping the weather will improve for the Winter Test in Jerez on 14-15 February so we can optimize our preparation for the season opener in Thailand later this month.”
The team will next test at the Circuito de Jerez on 17-18 February, aiming to take advantage of more favorable weather conditions before focusing on the season opener at Chang International Circuit, scheduled for 27 February to 1 March 2026.
