Hakim Danish’s ambition for a full season on the world stage is bolstered by strategic support with AEON Credit Service.

AEON Credit Service (M) Berhad has reinforced its commitment to nurturing elite young talent by becoming the title sponsor of the MSi Racing Team for the 2026 Moto3 season in the MotoGP. 

The one-year strategic investment will see the team compete under the new AEON Credit–MT–MSi branding, providing a comprehensive performance platform to support Malaysia’s rising star Hakim Danish Ramli as he continues his journey in the premier two-wheel championship. 

AEON Credit previously supported Hakim Danish during his Moto3 wildcard appearance at last year’s Malaysian Grand Prix in Sepang International Circuit (SIC), and this latest move represents a natural progression of that partnership.

The decision follows an impressive 2025 campaign for the 19-year-old rider, particularly in two major European championships, the FIM JuniorGP and the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup.

A product of the SIC development programme, Hakim Danish secured podium finishes in JuniorGP and etched his name in history by finishing third overall in the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup standings, cementing his status as one of Asia’s brightest prospects.

According to AEON Credit Managing Director and CEO Daisuke Maeda, the partnership reflects both a branding strategy and a long-term investment in Malaysian high-performance sport.

“This collaboration represents a strategic investment grounded in our belief in the values of discipline, perseverance and the opportunities that motorsport offers as a platform for shaping the next generation,” he said. 

“Motorsport aligns closely with AEON Credit’s core values, which emphasise resilience, fighting spirit and excellence. We are committed to building a sustainable ecosystem that nurtures future champions and national sporting icons.”

He added that Hakim Danish’s maturity and determination, especially during his wildcard outing at Sepang, reinforced the Group’s confidence in supporting him on a full-season basis.

For Hakim Danish, the title sponsorship provides added motivation ahead of the 2026 season opener in Thailand. 

“AEON Credit’s support is a tremendous boost for me,” he said. “My focus now is fully on repaying the trust placed in me by delivering my very best performance on the world stage.

“This news certainly increases my motivation, especially ahead of the Thailand GP scheduled from 28 February to 1 March. I would like to express my sincere appreciation to AEON Credit, SIC and ZK Racing for their hard work to make this prestigious collaboration a reality.”

The partnership also builds upon the existing collaboration between AEON Credit and ZK Racing under the Malaysian Motorsport Development Blueprint (MDEV), a two-wheel talent programme jointly formulated by the Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS) and SIC.

ZK Racing Team Manager Zulfahmi Khairuddin described the sponsorship as timely and impactful: “The commitment and investment from AEON Credit have a significant impact on the continuity of the development programme we have structured. Without strong backing from strategic corporate partners such as AEON Credit, it would be difficult to place Malaysia’s young talents on the world stage,” he said.
