Alongside the debut of the SRK450RR, QJMotor Malaysia has also introduced the 2026 QJMotor SRK250RD, expanding its presence in the lightweight supersport segment. The SRK250RD is priced at RM21,888, excluding road tax, insurance, and registration, and comes with a two-year unlimited mileage warranty against manufacturing defects.

The SRK250RD enters a segment currently dominated by Kawasaki, going head-to-head with the Kawasaki ZX-25R, priced at RM33,900, and the higher-spec Kawasaki ZX-25RR, retailing at RM36,500.

At the heart of the SRK250RD is a 249cc inline-four, liquid-cooled DOHC engine with 16 valves, producing 40.2 hp at 15,500 rpm and 22 Nm of torque at 12,500 rpm. Power is delivered to the rear wheel via a six-speed gearbox and chain final drive, offering high-revving performance that is increasingly rare in the quarter-litre class.

QJMotor SRK250RD

The SRK250RD has a claimed curb weight of 176 kg with 16 litres of fuel in the tank, while seat height is set at 808 mm. It rides on 17-inch wheels, fitted with a 110/70 front tyre and a 150/60 rear tyre, slightly narrower than the SRK450RR’s setup.

Suspension is supplied by Marzocchi, featuring an upside-down front fork and a preload-adjustable rear shock absorber. Braking hardware comes from Brembo, with twin 320 mm front brake discs and a single 240 mm rear disc, supported by two-channel ABS as standard. In Malaysia, the SRK250RD is offered in three colour options: Red, White, and Black.

Despite its aggressive pricing, the SRK250RD is equipped with a comprehensive electronics suite. This includes traction control, two riding modes, and switchable launch control. Rider conveniences are equally extensive, featuring USB Type-A and Type-C charging ports, front and rear dashcams, action camera control, tyre pressure monitoring, and Bluetooth connectivity.

Through Carbit Ride app integration, riders also gain access to smartphone mirroring, enabling on-screen navigation and message notifications directly on the bike’s display.

With its inline-four engine, Brembo brakes, Marzocchi suspension, and generous electronics package, the QJMotor SRK250RD positions itself as a compelling value-driven alternative in Malaysia’s 250cc supersport category, particularly for riders seeking four-cylinder performance at a significantly lower entry price.
