The FIM Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC) has officially announced its 2026 Championship Calendar, confirming a six-round season set to begin in April 2026. The upcoming season will once again take the championship across multiple circuits in Asia, continuing ARRC’s mission of delivering high-level motorcycle racing while nurturing regional talent.

Season 2026 follows a landmark 2025 campaign that strengthened ARRC’s presence across Asia through improved partnerships, rider development initiatives, and deeper fan engagement. According to organisers, the new season will build on that momentum while introducing key regulatory adjustments aimed at enhancing competitiveness and fairness.

Ron Hogg, Promotions Director of Two Wheels Motor Racing, highlighted the championship’s steady growth and future ambitions: “ARRC has always aspired to expand its footprint and strengthen its visibility among Asian communities. Season 2025 reaffirmed that our collective efforts through partnerships, rider development and fan engagement bore indefinite fruits of success.”

“With the traction gained, we are optimistic about the outlook for 2026. The coming season will witness a strategic recalibration of regulations to ensure a level playing field while advancing the standards of excellence across the championship,” he said.

The regulatory updates planned for 2026 are designed to align ARRC more closely with global best practices, while still supporting innovation and growth within Asia’s motorsport ecosystem. Organisers believe these refinements will allow riders and teams to compete on more equal terms, further raising the quality of racing.

FIM Asia President Stephan Carapiet reflected on the challenges and achievements of the previous season, praising the resilience of the ARRC community. “Season 2025 was not without its challenges, yet it became another defining chapter in the journey of the ARRC. What could have been obstacles were transformed into milestones through the strength of our collective spirit,” he said.

Looking ahead to 2026, Carapiet expressed confidence in a smoother and more focused campaign: “Six rounds have been scheduled for the coming year and while we return to familiar circuits, we will be back with different motivation, a higher level of competence and new goals. ARRC will continue discovering new talents while motivating existing teams and riders to expand their wings for greater, passion-driven success.”

With its six-round calendar now confirmed, the 2026 FIM Asia Road Racing Championship is set to continue playing a vital role in developing Asia’s next generation of motorcycle racing talent, while delivering competitive, world-class racing across the continent.
