Triumph has officially introduced the TXP range of electric trials bikes, developed in collaboration with OSET, the specialist trials brand acquired by Triumph in 2022. Aimed at introducing young riders to the world of two wheels, the TXP series combines scalable electric performance with premium design and parental safety features.
The line-up consists of four models tailored to different age groups and riding levels:
- TXP-12 – Designed for the youngest beginners, with age-specific ergonomics to help children take their first steps into motorcycling.
- TXP-16 – Built for riders around five years old, offering a top speed of 19 mph for more adventurous learning.
- TXP-20 – Targeted at riders aged seven and above, with a claimed top speed of 22 mph and components designed for “growing riders.”
- TXP-24 – The flagship model, aimed at riders aged 11 and up, supports weights up to 90.2 kg (199 lbs). It features premium suspension, high-performance brakes, and a lightweight chassis, reaching speeds of up to 24 mph.
All bikes come equipped with PIN-protected parental speed controls, giving parents an extra layer of oversight as children develop their skills. Triumph says each model is engineered with age-specific frames, geometry, and controls, ensuring the right balance of performance, safety, and confidence at every stage.
While the TXP range carries Triumph branding, it builds on OSET’s existing TXP series, with similarities suggesting it may share more than just design inspiration.
The bikes are available to order now through selected Triumph dealerships, with deliveries expected in time for Christmas. That makes the TXP series not only an entry point into the world of trials riding but also a timely contender for the ultimate kids’ holiday present.
