Yamaha Motor Europe has confirmed that Swedish motocross talent Isak Gifting will continue his partnership with the JK Yamaha Supported MX Team through the 2026 season. The 24-year-old rider from Grycksbo, Sweden, will once again take on the FIM Motocross World Championship aboard the powerful Yamaha YZ450F, competing in the sport’s premier MXGP class.

Gifting’s transition to MXGP in 2024 marked an exciting new phase in his racing career. Since joining the JK Yamaha outfit, he has displayed steady progression, highlighted by a standout fifth-place overall finish at the MXGP of the Czech Republic earlier this year. Despite a few injury setbacks, Gifting’s resilience and determination have been evident throughout his Yamaha tenure, earning him respect in the paddock and renewed support from the manufacturer.

As the 2025 season nears its conclusion, Gifting remains laser-focused on development and consistency. With another full campaign ahead, he aims to convert his experience into results, targeting a top-10 finish in the overall MXGP standings and eyeing further top-five race results or better.

Yamaha Motor Europe’s Off-Road Racing Manager, Alexandre Kowalski, praised Gifting’s work ethic and performance trajectory, noting that his attitude embodies the spirit of Yamaha’s racing philosophy.

With his contract extension confirmed, Isak Gifting’s journey with Yamaha continues, a partnership built on perseverance, growth, and the pursuit of excellence on the world motocross stage.
