Malaysia’s rising star Hakim Danish Ramli will make his full-season debut in the 2026 Moto3 World Championship with the MSi Racing Team, marking a major milestone in his young career.
The 18-year-old Terengganu-born rider earned the promotion after an outstanding 2025 campaign across the FIM JuniorGP World Championship and the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup, where he claimed multiple podiums and finished third overall, the best-ever result by a Malaysian in the series.
Hakim’s wildcard performance at the Petronas Grand Prix of Malaysia further cemented his reputation, convincing MSi to sign him for the upcoming season. He will partner with Ryusei Yamanaka, following Angel Piqueras’ move to Moto2.
This step continues Hakim’s journey with MSi, who have guided his development through JuniorGP under the close support of Sepang International Circuit (SIC), ZK Racing, and Malaysia’s Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS).
A former Idemitsu Asia Talent Cup champion (2022), Hakim’s progression to Moto3 highlights Malaysia’s growing presence in world motorsport and sets the stage for another exciting chapter in his racing career.
