Ducati Celebrates 100 Years of Passion and Innovation

Ducati launches its 100th anniversary celebrations ahead of 2026, unveiling a new Centenary logo and announcing World Ducati Week 2026 at Misano to mark a century of Italian excellence in motorcycling.

Nearly a century has passed since the founding of Ducati on July 4, 1926, when a small workshop in Bologna began a journey that would forever shape the world of motorcycling. In 2026, Ducati officially celebrates its 100th anniversary, marking a milestone that captures a century of passion, style, innovation, and performance, the very essence of “Made in Italy.”

A Symbolic Logo for a Century of Legacy

To commemorate this remarkable milestone, Ducati unveiled its Centenary logo, a symbol that bridges the brand’s rich history with its forward-looking spirit. Conceived and developed at the company’s creative headquarters in Borgo Panigale, the logo reflects Ducati’s enduring identity and core values.

At its heart stands the number 100, rendered in the same distinctive typeface seen on Ducati motorcycles. A dynamic curve runs through it, the same sweeping line that defines the Ducati shield, representing both the physical thrill of leaning into a corner and the metaphorical curve connecting the brand’s past, present, and future.

Beneath the inscription 1926–2026, the Italian tricolore proudly flows, a tribute to Ducati’s roots and its unbreakable bond with Bologna. The tagline “A Century Made of Seconds” encapsulates Ducati’s dual spirit, a celebration of its racing DNA and a reflection on the countless moments that have defined its journey: victories on track, innovations in design, and connections forged with riders around the world.

A Global Celebration at World Ducati Week 2026

The centrepiece of Ducati’s centenary celebrations will be World Ducati Week 2026 (WDW2026), set to take place from 3rd to 5th July 2026 at the Misano World Circuit “Marco Simoncelli”. The event will culminate on Saturday, July 4th, exactly 100 years since Ducati’s founding, bringing together Ducatisti from around the world for a once-in-a-lifetime gathering of passion and community.

More than just a festival, WDW2026 will be a living tribute to Ducati’s century-long evolution — from precision engineering and racing triumphs to its transformation into a global cultural icon. Fans can expect special exhibitions, historic motorcycle showcases, exclusive rides, and appearances by legendary Ducati riders past and present.

A Legacy of Excellence

From humble beginnings, manufacturing radio components in the 1920s to producing some of the most advanced motorcycles in the world, Ducati has consistently embodied the spirit of Italian craftsmanship and innovation. Over the decades, it has redefined performance and design through models like the 916, Monster, Panigale, and Multistrada, and through its dominance in MotoGP and WorldSBK.

Today, Ducati continues to push boundaries, merging technology and emotion, engineering and art, all while staying true to its heritage. The Centenary logo and the celebrations that accompany it symbolise not only the brand’s past achievements but also its vision for the next hundred years.

Looking Ahead

As the world prepares to celebrate a century of Ducati, the company invites fans, riders, and collectors to join the festivities and be part of this extraordinary chapter in motorcycling history.

Further updates on World Ducati Week 2026 and other centenary events will be announced soon on Ducati’s official website.
