Bridgestone Corporation has announced the upcoming launch of its latest high-performance, track-exclusive motorcycle tyre, the RACING BATTLAX V03, set to hit the European and North American markets in 2026. Designed for both professional racers and serious enthusiasts, the RACING BATTLAX V03 marks a new era in Bridgestone’s motorsport innovation, offering unrivalled grip and faster lap times than ever before.

Redefining Track Performance

Drawing on decades of success in elite racing championships, including five consecutive FIM Endurance World Championship titles, Bridgestone has integrated its most advanced compounding and tyre design technologies into the new RACING BATTLAX V03.

Both the front and rear tyres feature an entirely redesigned profile that increases the contact patch, boosting cornering stability and traction. The result is what Bridgestone calls the highest level of grip in BATTLAX history, translating into lap times that are 1.3% faster per lap than the previous RACING BATTLAX V02, even under intense, multi-lap conditions.

Introducing the Rear “SPRINT spec”

For the first time, Bridgestone introduces a rear ‘SPRINT spec’ version, purpose-built for short-format sprint races and peak-performance applications. Using a new, ultra-soft compound engineered for maximum traction, the RACING BATTLAX V03 SPRINT delivers 1.9% quicker lap times than its predecessor’s SOFT compound.

This latest addition gives riders and teams the flexibility to choose tyres based on race type and track temperature, whether endurance or sprint, without compromising on durability or control.

Bridgestone’s Pursuit of “Dan-Totsu” Excellence

Bridgestone continues to position its motorsport programmes as a “mobile laboratory”, a testbed for developing next-generation compounding, construction, and manufacturing technologies that eventually flow into its commercial tyre lineup.

Guided by the company’s ‘Dan-Totsu’ philosophy, meaning the clear and absolute leader, and its E8 Commitment (Energy, Ecology, Efficiency, Extension, Economy, Emotion, Ease, and Empowerment), Bridgestone aims to not only enhance performance but also support a safer, more enjoyable motorcycling culture worldwide.

A New Flagship for a New Era

The RACING BATTLAX V03 stands as the new flagship of Bridgestone’s premium racing line, representing the pinnacle of its “challenge for excellence” in motorsport. Riders can expect superior handling precision, consistency across laps, and an unmistakable Bridgestone racing feel that delivers both speed and security.

The tyre will be available exclusively through Bridgestone Motorsport distributors across Europe and North America starting in 2026.
