Bridgestone Corporation has announced the upcoming launch of the BATTLAX RACING STREET RS12, a premium sports motorcycle tyre inspired by race technology and engineered for real-world performance. The RS12 will debut in Europe and North America in January 2026, followed by Japan in February 2026.

Under the concept “From Circuit to Street,” the RS12 bridges the gap between track precision and street usability, offering riders the highest level of dry grip performance ever achieved in a road-legal BATTLAX tyre.

Advanced Technology Derived from the Track

The RS12 integrates a trio of innovations directly inherited from Bridgestone’s motorsport experience:

1. New Compound – Developed using race-proven formulations to maximise cornering traction and temperature stability.
2. Optimised Tread Pattern – A redesigned groove layout improves tyre rigidity and increases the contact patch for enhanced grip through high lean angles.
3. HE-MS Belt Structure – Used for the first time in a commercial BATTLAX tyre, this flexible belt equalises contact pressure for smoother handling and greater stability.

These combined technologies deliver a significant lap time improvement over the previous RS11 model while maintaining consistent grip even after multiple laps, ideal for riders who enjoy spirited track sessions or aggressive street riding.
