Aprilia Racing has officially renewed its technical partnership with SC-Project for the 2026 MotoGP season, extending a collaboration that began in 2022. The partnership brings together two Italian leaders in racing innovation with the shared goal of developing state-of-the-art exhaust systems for the Aprilia RS-GP MotoGP machines, as well as other Aprilia Racing models.

Since 2022, SC-Project has been Aprilia Racing’s Official Exhaust Technical Supplier, playing a key role in the design, development, and production of high-performance exhaust systems. Beyond MotoGP, the partnership also extends to Aprilia Racing’s broader lineup, including the RS 660 Trofeo, the RS 457 Trofeo, the special “X” series, and collaborations with partner teams competing in CIV SBK and the EWC Superstock category.

During the GP di San Marino e della Riviera di Rimini, Aprilia Racing showcased a newly developed carbon exhaust for the RS-GP25 machines ridden by Jorge Martín and Marco Bezzecchi. The latest SC-Project exhausts focus on maximizing performance and aerodynamics while reducing size and weight for improved handling.

The partnership has also expanded to the Piaggio Group, with SC-Project now supplying both factory and aftermarket exhaust systems for Aprilia motorcycles, available in racing and street-legal versions worldwide.

Massimo Rivola, CEO of Aprilia Racing, expressed pride in renewing the agreement: “Since 2022, our joint work has allowed us to continuously improve the performance of our bikes, developing increasingly advanced solutions. MotoGP is the maximum expression of technology applied to racing, and having an Italian partner like SC-Project is an added value. We’ll continue to work together with the goal of reaching new milestones and taking ‘Made in Italy’ even higher.”

SC-Project founders Marco De Rossi and Stefano Lavazza echoed the sentiment: “Our departments have worked in complete synergy for years with Aprilia Racing, and we are firmly convinced that only through a close, long-lasting, and extremely professional partnership can one achieve more and more ambitious milestones. This collaboration is not only about technical excellence but also about delivering satisfaction to fans of Aprilia and Italian-made products worldwide.”

With this renewed commitment, Aprilia Racing and SC-Project look ahead to 2026, aiming to keep pushing performance boundaries while proudly flying the Italian flag in MotoGP and beyond.
