Stark Future, best known for its groundbreaking Varg motocross machine, has confirmed its next big leap: a trio of fully street-legal motorcycles designed to disrupt the road bike market. The Spanish manufacturer has revealed more details about its upcoming lineup. It will span everything from lightweight supermotos to adventure and sport bikes aimed squarely at the 800cc class.
First Stop: A Street-Legal Supermoto
Before the larger machines arrive, Stark will roll out its first road-going model, a supermoto derived from the Varg platform. In a teaser video, founder and CEO Anton Wass introduced the bike to senior team members before personally taking it for a ride. Wass described it as “the first super light, super powerful street-legal supermoto”. He emphasises its potential to redefine what riders expect from the category.
Entering the Adventure Segment
The company’s ambitions go far beyond supermotos. Stark is developing a new adventure bike, codenamed Alg, aimed at competing with and surpassing traditional 800cc models. Wass claims the Alg will deliver 50% more power at a lower weight, while offering lightning-fast charging times, promising a top-up “faster than you can drink a cup of coffee.” He also pledged a range “more than you need,” suggesting long-distance capability will be a central selling point.
A Sportier Sibling: The Lo
After the Alg, Stark will launch another road model named Lo. The sportier machine will carry the adventure bike’s performance DNA but prioritise agility and on-road dynamics over long-haul exploration.
Looking East: A Global Bestseller in the Making?
Stark’s vision doesn’t end with Europe and North America. Wass confirmed the company is exploring a smaller-capacity motorcycle designed specifically for the Asian market, where lightweight and affordable machines dominate. This bike, expected to fall into the 100–500cc equivalent class, could become a mass-market product with the potential to sell in the millions annually. Crucially, it is being designed with charging times as fast as refuelling a petrol-powered bike.
Redefining the Road Ahead
By moving into road bikes, Stark Future is making its most ambitious push yet to shed its image as a motocross-only brand. With the Varg proving the company’s engineering capabilities, Wass and his team now appear determined to reshape how riders think about electric motorcycles, from urban commuters to adventure tourers.
If Stark delivers on its promises, the Alg and Lo will disrupt the mid-weight segment, while the yet-to-be-named Asian-market bike will elevate the company into an entirely new league.
