In conjunction with the grand opening of Mforce SmartShop Tat Kang Motor Sdn. Bhd., the 17th Mforce SmartShop in Malaysia and the 7th in Johor, Mforce Bike Holdings Sdn. Bhd. has introduced the Yadea Velax, a fully electric scooter aimed at modern urban commuters.

Launched alongside the new QJMotor SRK250S, the Velax is priced at RM7,099 (excluding road tax, insurance, and registration) and comes in three colour options – Blue, Black, and Grey. Owners are also entitled to a RM2,400 rebate under the MARiiCas programme, making the Velax a more accessible entry into Malaysia’s growing e-scooter market.

Yadea Velax

Every unit comes with a two-year or 20,000 km warranty against manufacturing defects, with spare parts available via Mforce Bike Holdings’ online portal.

Powering the Velax is a 2 kW electric motor delivering a peak of 3.2 kW and 172 Nm of torque. Energy is supplied by a 72-Volt 30 Ah LFP battery, giving the scooter a top speed of 62 km/h and an examined range of up to 105 km on a full charge. Charging from zero to 80% takes about six hours, with a full charge requiring approximately eight hours.

Yadea Velax

Designed with durability in mind, the Velax boasts IPX7 water resistance for both the motor and battery, allowing safe operation in water up to 300 mm deep and even submersion in 1 metre of water for up to 30 minutes. The scooter runs on 14-inch wheels front and rear, with 90/90 front and 100/90 rear tyres.

The Velax offers two ride modes, Sport and Eco, along with a reverse gear function for added manoeuvrability. Convenience features include full LED lighting (headlamp, tail light, and indicators), a USB Type-A charging port, a storage pocket in the front cowl, and underseat storage.

With its blend of practicality, eco-friendliness, and competitive pricing, the Yadea Velax aims to be a compelling choice for riders looking to embrace electric mobility in Malaysia’s urban landscape.
